# EveryAction Alternatives: Who Publishes a Price and Who Makes You Ask

## Quick answer

EveryAction is the fundraising CRM inside Bonterra, and Bonterra publishes no prices. The realistic alternatives split in two. Neon CRM, Bloomerang, Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, Little Green Light, Keela and Givebutter publish a figure you can budget against. Virtuous, Blackbaud and DonorPerfect make you ask.

## What EveryAction is now

EveryAction began as a fundraising and advocacy platform for nonprofits and progressive campaigns, built alongside NGP VAN. It is now a product inside Bonterra, the largest roll-up in the sector, which also holds Network for Good, Mobilize, DonorDrive and OneCause.

That matters for a practical reason. Many organizations did not choose EveryAction and did not choose Bonterra. They chose one of the products that Bonterra later acquired, and the platform changed around them. If you are looking for alternatives because the product you bought is not the product you now use, that is the ordinary experience of a roll-up and not a failure of your own evaluation.

## Who publishes a price and who makes you ask

The table below shows, for each of the ten tools, whether its own site publishes a starting price and what that price is based on.

<table>
<thead>
<tr><th>CRM</th><th>Published starting price</th><th>What that price is based on</th><th>Published on the vendor's own site</th></tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr><td>Little Green Light</td><td>$45 a month</td><td>Monthly billing, up to 2,500 constituents. Annual billing saves 10%</td><td>Yes</td></tr>
<tr><td>Givebutter</td><td>Free CRM, Givebutter Plus from $29 a month</td><td>Plus billed annually, up to 250 contacts. $33.80 on monthly billing</td><td>Yes</td></tr>
<tr><td>Neon CRM</td><td>$99 a month</td><td>Priced on your revenue, not your record count. Billing basis not stated</td><td>Yes</td></tr>
<tr><td>Bloomerang</td><td>$125 a month for Bloomerang CRM</td><td>Billed annually</td><td>Yes</td></tr>
<tr><td>Keela</td><td>$164 a month</td><td>Billed annually, up to 1,000 contacts. $190 on monthly billing</td><td>Yes</td></tr>
<tr><td>Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud</td><td>$70 per user per month</td><td>Billed annually, Core edition</td><td>Yes</td></tr>
<tr><td>Bonterra, including EveryAction</td><td>Not published</td><td>Quote only</td><td>No</td></tr>
<tr><td>Virtuous</td><td>Not published</td><td>Quote only</td><td>No</td></tr>
<tr><td>Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT</td><td>Not published</td><td>Quote only</td><td>No</td></tr>
<tr><td>DonorPerfect</td><td>Not published</td><td>Quote only</td><td>No</td></tr>
</tbody>
</table>

Source: each vendor's own pricing page, checked 28 October 2026. The third column matters: these prices are not a like-for-like ranking. Some are annual-billing rates, some are monthly, and the thing being counted differs from one vendor to the next. Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud also publishes $125 and $285 per user per month for its higher editions. Bloomerang also publishes Bloomerang Volunteer from $119 a month and Bloomerang Fundraising from $40 a month, both billed annually, though a footnote on its pricing page says Fundraising must be bought as a bundle with Bloomerang CRM. The combined Giving Platform is priced on request. Givebutter's free tier is funded by optional donor tips. If you switch tips off, Givebutter charges a 3% platform fee plus 2.9% and 30 cents per transaction.

Six of the ten publish a number before you speak to anyone. Four do not. Quote-only pricing is normal in enterprise software and does not mean a tool is expensive. It does mean you cannot compare the four against the six without a sales call, and it means your renewal is a negotiation rather than a published rate.

## The figure the vendor does not publish

Comparison sites list DonorPerfect at around $119 a month, and that number has spread far enough to turn up in AI-generated summaries of this question. DonorPerfect's own pricing page carries three tiers, Core, Plus and Pro, each with a Get pricing button, and no dollar figure anywhere on the page or in its source.

The $119 appears to have travelled from somewhere real. It is the starting price of Bloomerang Volunteer, which is a different product from a different vendor.

This is worth more than the correction itself. If you are comparing a quote you were given against a number you read on a comparison site, check whether the vendor publishes that number at all. On this question, for this set of tools, a figure you cannot find on the vendor's own site is a figure to set aside.

## Choose by what you actually use EveryAction for

### If you use it as a donor CRM

Neon CRM, Bloomerang, DonorPerfect, Virtuous and Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud are the realistic replacements. Little Green Light, Keela and Givebutter fit smaller files and smaller budgets. Our [nonprofit fundraising software pricing guide](/blog/best-ai-tools-nonprofit-fundraising) carries the full tier tables for all of them. If EveryAction is not the only system you are weighing, we have the same breakdown for [Blackbaud](/blog/blackbaud-alternatives) and [eTapestry](/blog/etapestry-alternatives).

### If you use it for advocacy and supporter actions

This is the harder half. EveryAction's advocacy and digital organizing lineage runs through NGP VAN, and a donor CRM on its own does not replace petitions, action pages and supporter targeting. Most organizations that move end up with a CRM plus a separate advocacy tool rather than one product that does both. Price the pair, not the CRM alone.

### If you mostly use it for email

Email is the easiest piece to move and the easiest to underestimate. Check deliverability history, suppression lists and whether your sending domain authentication moves with you, because a clean list on a new sender reputation performs worse before it performs better.

## What breaks when you move

- Soft credits, tributes and memorial gifts, which rarely survive a standard import
- Recurring gift schedules, which usually have to be rebuilt and re-authorized rather than migrated
- Custom fields added over years, which tend to arrive as unlabelled text
- Attachments, call notes and anything a staff member typed into a free-text box
- Advocacy actions and supporter activity history, which generally do not map to a donor CRM at all

Our [donor data migration guide](/blog/donor-data-migration) covers what to export before you cancel, in what format, and the checks to run on the other side.

## Where Gratefully fits, and where it does not

Gratefully is not an EveryAction alternative. It is not a system of record and it will not hold your gifts, your recurring schedules or your advocacy actions. If you are leaving EveryAction, you still need a CRM.

What it does is sit on top of whichever CRM you choose and answer questions across your records, documents and notes with the sources attached. Organizations usually reach for it for a different reason than a migration: the relationship context that never lived in the CRM in the first place. If Bloomerang is on your shortlist, our [Gratefully and Bloomerang comparison](/gratefully-vs-bloomerang) sets out what each of the two does. Our [pricing](/pricing) is published, which on this page is the least we can do.

## The takeaway

The pricing split is the useful signal on this question. Six of these ten publish a number and four do not, and EveryAction sits with the four. That does not make it the wrong product. It does mean that every comparison you read about its cost is someone's estimate, including the ones that look like facts.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is EveryAction the same as Bonterra?

Not quite. Bonterra is the company and EveryAction is one of its products. Bonterra also holds Network for Good, Mobilize, DonorDrive and OneCause. EveryAction is sold as part of Bonterra's fundraising and engagement line rather than as a standalone brand.

### Did EveryAction pricing change after Bonterra acquired it?

We cannot tell you, and neither can anyone else from published sources. Bonterra's fundraising and engagement pricing page runs to roughly 3,800 words and contains no dollar figure, so there is no published rate to compare against. Any before and after number you see quoted is an estimate.

### Do I lose the advocacy and email tools if I move off EveryAction?

Usually yes, as a single product. Donor CRMs replace the fundraising side. Petitions, action pages and supporter targeting normally need a separate advocacy tool, so price the combination rather than the CRM on its own.

### Why do so few nonprofit CRMs publish a price?

Four of the ten tools on this page do not. Quote-only pricing lets a vendor price by organization size, by module and by negotiation, which is standard in enterprise software. The practical effect is that you cannot compare those four against the six that publish without first booking a call.

### Can Gratefully replace EveryAction?

No. Gratefully is a donor intelligence layer rather than a system of record, so it has no gift entry, no recurring billing and no advocacy tools. It connects to the CRM you choose and answers questions across your donor records and documents with citations.
